Jean Daigle
(1923-2011)
Jean Daigle 88, of Acadieville passed away peacefully after a brief
illness at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday,
December 28th, 2011. Born in Acadieville on 14 December 1923, he was the son of
the late Ernest and late Henriette (Barrieau) Daigle.
Jean attended Immaculée Conception Roman Catholic Church,
Acadieville and was a kitchen helper before retiring. Jean
will be sadly missed by his brother; Lionel Daigle of
Rogersville, his half-brother; Marcel Barrieau (Alice) of
Acadieville, two half-sisters; Eva Thebeau (Adélard) of
Acadieville, Léa McGraw (Ronald) of St. Ignace, as well as
many nieces and nephews. Jean will also be missed by his
long time friend; Juliette Caissie. Other than by his
parents, Jean is predeceased by his brother; Fidèle, two
sisters; Ozélie and Amanda and two half-sisters; Bertha and
Amanda.
Resting at La Salle André Bérubé, Acadieville, with
visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm, Tuesday from
2:00pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on
Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at 4:00pm, Immaculée Conception
Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville.
